WHAT: ‘Grijs Haar Wijs Haar' is a board game that includes four categories, each with its own stack of cards. For example; guess who the royal family is, express what’s on the card, finish the proverb or explain a product without saying the word on the card. By throwing the dice, you can move the pawn forward. With every move you make, you have to pick a card of the category where you end up and do the task that’s on the card.

WHO: This concept is created for people with dementia, who have problems fitting in society. Our  population is growing and is getting older. This means that more and more people will have to deal with dementia. Because their memory is declining, it’s hard to make contact with people who have dementia. This concept makes contact between people with dementia and their caregivers more natural again.

VALUE: This concept focusses on social value. The game ‘Grijs Haar Wijs Haar’ wants to offer an approachable solution to make social contact between a person with dementia and a caregiver possible. This improves the emotional wellbeing of both the person with dementia and the caregiver. The game does this in an unconstrained and playful way, which improves the social wellbeing.  Therefore the quality of life will improve.
